Event details
We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a Summer Festival at the No.7 Bottle Shop on Saturday 2nd August between 10am and 4pm.
We’re opening our doors to everyone for a unique experience, with fun for all the family.
Take A Tour
Come along and see first-hand the work being carried out to regenerate the historic No.7 Bottle Shop and learn about it’s amazing history. You can book your place on a guided tour led by our very own Project Director, John Tabern, by clicking the link below.
Unleash your creativity
There’s also a chance to try some hands-on craft activities guided by talented local experts. This includes making glass mosaics and basic blacksmithing.
Facepainting
Our talented face painter will be on hand to transform little (and big!) faces into their favorite characters, animals, or fantastical designs.
Fairground ride
There’ll also be a FREE small fairground ride on site to keep the kids entertained.
Share your stories
We’d love to hear from anyone who may have previously worked in the St Helens glass making industry. Maybe you worked at United Glass Bottle Manufacturers Ltd, or have some links to Cannington Shaw. If so, we’d love to see you on the day to hear and perhaps record your stories about St Helens’ heritage.
Spread the word
It promises to be a fantastic day! So please spread the word by telling your family and friends and following and liking our posts about the event on our Facebook page.
We can’t wait to see you!
